Elizabeth is passionate about preparing taxes. Her expertise includes personal, small business, corporate, and franchise tax returns. She looks forward to helping her clients with their Federal and State taxes. She is always looking for legal strategies to help her clients reduce their tax liabilities.
Elizabeth also enjoys helping small business owners and individuals to manage and grow their businesses. With 13 plus years of experience, working for Martinez CPA, she provides her clients with expert advice, professionalism, responsiveness, and peace of mind.
Elizabeth is in constant communication with all of her clients to provide a high level of service. She is fluent in Spanish and English. Elizabeth grew up in a business-minded home; her father was a grocery store business owner in Mexico. Therefore, Elizabeth understands both the retail side and the financial side of a business.
Elizabeth prepares Financial Statements, performs Accounting Services, processes Sales Tax, and prepares ITIN applications. She believes every client is unique and deserves to be treated with kindness and fairness.
Elizabeth is a graduate of Santa Ana College, CA. Her previous work experience consists of 10 years as a Cash Auditor, Human Resources Assistant, and Payroll Specialist for Mervyn’s Corporation in CA, 5 years as a Bookkeeper for Southside Bank in Tyler, and 1 year of Accounts Payable for a Seafood Restaurant in Mexico.
Elizabeth has been involved in leadership positions, including Treasurer and Vice President positions for a Youth Christian Group. In this role, Elizabeth helped organize different events to generate revenue. She also volunteered to assist in managing the budget and keeping financial records for a youth conference event held in CA, with successful results.
In her spare time, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, attending church, listening to podcasts, and music.
